~My Mothers Day ~

I wake up to little Weston tapping on my face asking me if it is mommy's day yet.
I pull him in for a quick kiss, then he's off.
I can hear Kaylee and Colby outside my door "do you think she is awake" Dad said to let her sleep" Colby says. After a min they agree its time to get me up." Come down and see the breakfast dad has made", and "the beautiful flowers" kaylee says. Colby is now trying to tell her to be quiet "it's a SURPRISE!!!" I Bend down to comfort Kaylee while the hole time getting tugs by Weston "i want to hold you mommy". I come down to a wonderful breakfast and darling cards and beautiful flowers.
Now we have to get ready for church. I Shower first, that's nice although I wish it were longer. I help get the kids dressed Colby thinks he's done but he is wearing pants that are way to little. Explain that he can't wear those"but dad said I looked fine".
I move on to Weston he wants to do it all himself that fine except we are in a hurry. I tell Kaylee its time to do her hair she wants one piggy tail on the one side of her head ! No I tell her but maybe some other time "you never let me wear it how i want" She sure does have a mind of her own. I look down at Oakley ok your turn last but not least. Smiling at me until I have to chance her diaper and put on a dress. Now we are ready for church.
I Come home eat a wonderful dinner that Shawn made. After dinner I sit on the couch and watch the kids and Shawn wrestle on the floor. Kaylee gets hurt like all ways, She sits on my lap, kiss her better. I remember I wanted to get a picture of the kids and me on mothers day. I grab the camera Colby hides Weston starts laying all over the couch Kaylee is sitting and smiling the hole time. Finally we get them all on the couch try taking a few no one is looking everyone was done. Shawn finally starts getting mad " you guys sit still this is all mom wants for mothers day" Tears from almost everyone, we take one last picture.
We send the kids off to bed, kiss them all good night. Weston is calling for another kiss, Colby needs a drink, now they are all settled down. Its those sweet good night kisses, and quiet I love you that make this all worth it.
I can spend some quiet time with my hubby get snuggled up on the couch, turn on the news and the next ting I know Shawn is telling me its time to go to bed.
Motherhood is so rewarding and stressful and fun and sad and frustrating and the most wonderful thing I will ever do. I am so blessed to have four wonderful kids and a wonderful husband that love me and supports me. I want my mom to know how much I love her, and tell her thank you for all that she has done for me.
